Meet Your Guide

                   Dave Shindler

Dave was born in York Pa and currently resides in Manchester only a short drive to the Susquehanna.  Dave is married with three fishing children ranging from 11 to 4 years old.  While the Susquehanna River is certainly Dave's home water, he is at home on any body of water chasing literally any species that swims.

As a child when he was not on the Susquehanna, Dave could be found on the eastern shore fishing the back bays of Chincoteague VA and Rehobeth bay for Flounder, Trout, Sharks and anything else that could be found. It would be safe to say that probably as much time was spent on the water as on
dry land.

In 2001 Dave began taking guided trips by word of mouth and now guides year round for many species on the Susquehanna River. Smallmouth Bass and Flathead Catfish are without a doubt Dave's preferred targets, but Walleye, Musky, Carp, Stripers and Panfish are always a close second.

Dave's Moto " We will always treat you the way I would want to be treated" has gained the respect of his growing clientel. Whether you are guided by Dave or one of our other Guides you will be treated with the same attention and respect.

             Anthony Cicero

Anthony is a great addition to the Jst Fishin' Guide Staff.  His never give up attitude and fish finding skills make him a great teacher and excellent guide.  He is always willing to work hard for our clients, which is what I was looking for when we needed to add an additional guide. Anthony has been guiding the Susquehanna since high school

He was born along the Susquehanna and like Dave has cut his teeth on the Susquehanna River. Anthony couldn't help but absorb a wealth of information from his fishing family, and currently fishes regularly with his Dad in local fishing tournaments on the Susquehanna. Working for his family business allows Anthony the freedom to spend countless hours on the river. Anthony and his children are also multi species anglers who just can't get enough of the mighty Susquehanna River.

Anthony's boat is a G3 1860 rigged witha a Yamaha 115/80 Jet.

His family also owns a cabin on the river in the Goldsboro pool that will be utilized for weekend fishing packages.
